Plans and growth take time and funds to make
happen. Time we always seem to have plenty of.
Funds on the other hand all depend on you and your
generosity as visitors and frequent users of the
facilities. We have several options available making a
donation to the Hill’s Bark Park quick and easy.
Make a singel or monthly donation or a Trubute, In-
kind or In-memoriam donation to honor a pet.
Also all items purchased through the store help
towards improving your leash free dog park.

Who buys POOP BAGS? (and all the other stuff)
The cost of the poop bags, chairs, dog bowls/bucket, park maintenance
and clean-up is all covered by the Friends of Hill's Bark Park Association
and the fund raising that we do each year. Due to the very nice winter
this year, and because more people were able to get out and enjoy the
park when it is usually very cold, the annual costs will be greatly
increased. If everyone that uses the park would contribute just .25¢
each time you come to the park, it would help the Friends of the Hill's
Bark Park in the purchase of the things that are nice to have available
at the park and also be able to make more improvements that could
include an agility course and/or spray park.
150 to 200 visitors per day X .25 X 365 days = over
$17,000 per year
Donations can be made at www.hillsbarkpark.org or there is a donation
box located between the small and large side gates in the corner. Even
your change will help towards our goal of a clean and safe park.

An in-kind or “tribute” donation is one
that honors a beloved pet, through a
donation to Friends of Hill’s Bark Park.
This thoughtful tribute means that the
lives of other animals here in Topeka/
Shawnee County will be more joyful.
The gift we receive in memory of a pet
will be a truly heartfelt tribute to all
the happy moments you shared. A
letter of gratitude will be sent to the
owner of the pet acknowledging the
heartfelt gift and thanks.
